There is a meaning

After a bit over a year of being hard at work paying back student loans and generally proving to the world that I am not purely a pizza addicted graduate student, it seems as if there should be some meaning to my life other than adjudicating between very very wealthy people who deserves more money.

I'm just not sure there are shoes in it.

  1. I try to always remember the trite maxim "you are not your job". I usually forget, but that doesn't make it less true. The job is, for most people, what we do to enable our real lives (welcome to capitalism).

If shoes are what make you happy then buy lots of shoes! virtual or otherwise. Life's too short not to indulge.

  3. I wish for the days when one's vocation was what it meant.
