My Brazilian Friends are in ecstasy about winning the Olympics

There's a holiday for winning the bid. It's a new era, and this is sort of a marker of how Brazil is arriving on the world stage.

    I hope they feel as good about the Olympics when they are living with it, as they do in anticipation.
